Susan Gray, family law attorney, has been involved with an animal abuse case in Forsyth County.  She is offering her services pro bono.  As an avid equestrian and animal lover, she felt compelled to get involved to protect the rights of animals since they are unable to speak for themselves.  A number of Forsyth County equine enthusiasts are involved and strongly encouraging Animal Control and the District Attorney's office to vigorously prosecute this case.  The need for law enforcement personnel, attorneys, and the courts to get involved in protecting dogs, cats, horses, and other animals is on the increase on a nationwide scale due to the unfortunate widespread rise in animal abuse, cruelty, and neglect.
