Since 2003 Mike Wells has offered valuable, free legal advice in the articles he writes for the Winston-Salem Journal. His articles appear in the Business Section of the Journal twice a month. In his articles, he discusses many common legal problems and presents practical solutions. The myriad of topics he addresses include recent statutory changes in advance directives (living wills) and health care powers of attorney, caring for elderly parents (when the child becomes the parent), and common legal issues for business operators.
If you are not much of a reader, you can catch Mike on the air every Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. on 600 AM / WSJS, where he hosts the popular public-service call-in show, "You and the Law". Mike has addressed nearly 20,000 questions from a wide variety of callers in the 17 years he has hosted the show. "You and the Law" is the longest running public service legal call-in show in North Carolina, and one of the most popular talk radio programs in the Triad.
